DOJO Belt Graduation System

Graduation Criteria

Students are evaluated daily by their attendance, effort level and comprehension of Jiu Jitsu technique. As students reach program milestones, they are recognized by receiving a stripe or stripes on their current belt from a DOJO Professor.  Once a student receives 4 stripes, they are eligible to be promoted to the next belt rank.  A DOJO Professor has discretion to advance a student to the next belt rank, even if a student does not have 4 stripes.

Graduation EVENTS

At DOJO, Student Graduations are held twice a year, in the Spring and Winter.  All students are encouraged to attend graduation even if they do not expect to be promoted to a new belt rank.  It is important that they participate in the ceremony to support their peers and DOJO community.
